Wiesław Mering

Wieslaw Mering Alojzy ( born December 10, 1945 in Zuckau, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland) is a bishop of Wloclawek.

Life

The Auxiliary Bishop of Chelmno, Zygfryd Kowalski, donated to him on 21 May 1972, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 25 March 2003 as Bishop of Wloclawek. He received his episcopal consecration the apostolic nuncio in Poland, Józef Kowalczyk, on 26 April of the same year; Co-consecrators were Bronisław Dembowski, Emeritus Bishop of Wloclawek, and Jan Szlaga, bishop of Pelplin. His motto is Justitia, pax et gaudium.
