Wilbur Cush

Wilbur "Billy " Cush ( born June 10, 1928 in Lurgan, County Armagh; † July 28, 1981 ) was a Northern Irish footballer.

Sports career

Cush began his career at Glenavon FC, ​​with whom he later in 1952 Irish champion and five years as a league and cup double winners. 1957 he moved to Leeds United in England. There he was promoted to captain, before he returned in 1960 after the descent of the club from the First Division to Northern Ireland.
