History
It was not until 1751 the village Wildetaube is first mentioned in a document. It was built on the land of a Lunziger manor. His name should have it according to the legend obtained from the first bird that had settled on a tavern. Busy on the other hand is an inn which bore the name "Wild Pigeon " for 1751.
Wildetaube is a member of the administrative community Leubatal, which was dissolved on 31 December 2013 since 1991. Wildetaube was incorporated simultaneously Langenwetzendorf. Its two districts Altgernsdorf and Wittchendorf were also independent districts of Langenwetzendorf.
