Wildseeloderhaus

The Wildseeloderhaus is a hut in the Austrian Alpine Association and is below the Wildseeloder in the Kitzbühel Alps in Austria.

Location

The cottage is situated in a cirque hollow of a small mountain lake, the Wildsee, between the peaks hen and Wildseeloder above Fieberbrunn Pillersetal. It is the starting point for many tours in the eastern Kitzbühel Alps. The house is situated vis-a- vis to the Lofer Steinberg mountains to the southern faces you can enjoy a wonderful view.

History

Was built in the Wildseeloderhaus 1892 jointly by the Section Fieberbrunn of OeAV and the Beautification Association Fieberbrunn. Since 1899, the Alpine Club is the sole owner of the hut. In 1970 the lodge was rebuilt and enlarged. Another reconstruction took place in 2008.
