Wilfred Elrington

Peter Wilfred " Sedi " Elrington (* in Stock Pick, Belize City ) is a lawyer and politician in Belize since 2008 and foreign minister of his country.

Biography

Elrington was called to the victory of the United Democratic Party (UDP) 2008 by Prime Minister Dean Barrow on 8 February 2008 to the Attorney General, Secretary of State and Minister of Foreign Trade in the Cabinet. As foreign minister, he delivered a speech before the United Nations General Assembly in New York on 29 September 2008. The Office of the Attorney General, he had to hand in a cabinet reshuffle in 2010.

He is also a Member of the National Assembly and represents the interests of the UDP in the constituency Pick floor.
