Wilhelm Bendz

Wilhelm Ferdinand Bendz ( born March 20, 1804 in Odense, † November 14, 1832 in Vicenza) was a Danish painter who was known as a genre and portrait painter of the Golden Age Danish. He was a student of Christoffer Wilhelm Eckerberg and sought a union of portraits, genre and historical painting at. Bendz died age of 28 during his first trip to Italy from pneumonia.
