Wilhelm Blunk

Wilhelm Friedrich " Fiete " Blunk (* December 12, 1902, † October 25, 1975 ) was a German football goalkeeper. With the Hamburger SV in 1928 he won the German championship with North Germany 1930 German Cup. In the national team he came in 1929 to an international match.

Career

With six years Blunk began his career at Good healing Neumünster. He was athletic versatile, gymnastics initially and operational athletics before he was finally footballer. When VfR Neumünster the goalkeeper was discovered in 1925 by Hamburger SV in the district league Schleswig -Holstein, and then he became the successor of the " legendary goalkeeper " Hans Martens built.
