Wilhelm Oxenius

Wilhelm Oxenius ( born September 9, 1912 in Kassel, † August 13, 1979 ) was a German officer during World War II.

Oxenius was before the war a soldier in the Wehrmacht. In June 1944 he was a staff officer for the Panzer Group West in France and then in the rank of Major iG adjutant of General Alfred Jodl in the High Command of the Wehrmacht. He gained as an interpreter during the surrender is signed on 7 May 1945 in Reims awareness.

On May 10, 1945 to January 3, 1948 he was in Allied captivity.
