Wilhelm Reisinger

William Reisinger (* June 30, 1958 in Pösing ) is a former German footballer, who played as a striker in Germany, Belgium and Austria.

Career

Clubs

Emerged from the youth of the ASV Cham, Reisinger received as a 18 -year-old player a license contract with the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. However, in four seasons, he came in just nine league games used. His first game he played on 26 March 1977 ( 27th Round ) in the 1-0 home win against Werder Bremen. His only Bundesliga goal he scored on 9 June 1979 ( 34th Round ) in a 2-1 away win over Hamburger SV - his first goal to make it 1-0 in the 73rd minute, he managed one minute after coming off the bench for Kurt Niedermayer.

In the season 1979/80 he also graduated only four league games, but also each one game in the DFB Cup ( on 25 August 1979 at 10:1 over FC Östringen ) and the UEFA Cup ( October 3, 1979 in the 2-2 draw at home to FC Bohemians Prague). At the end of the season he became German champion with Bayern Munich.

In the following season - on loan for a year to the 2nd Bundesliga Süd changed to Stuttgarter Kickers - he came up with 23 inserts ( five goals) and netted his first goal on matchday one.

In 1981, Reisinger Erstdivisionär for KV Mechelen in Belgium, where he spent four years as a regular player. In the season 1982/83 he attended with 30 goals in 30 appearances for the resurgence of the KV Mechelen from the second division to the first division. For the 1985/86 season he returned to Germany to second division Tennis Borussia Berlin. More stops to career-ending were Bregenz, Kapfenberg, pastures and Schweinfurt.

National

Between August 27, 1975 ( 2-1 win against France in Royan ) and June 1, 1976 ( 3-2 win against Czechoslovakia in Balatonfűzfő ) denied Reisinger eleven games ( 10 of them in a row! ) For the U- 18 national team.
