The Wilhelm Taler Bach (other name: Hallenbach ) is a left tributary of the river Wupper at the city boundary between the North Rhine-Westphalian cities of Wuppertal and Remscheid and the City Radevormwald in the lower reaches.

Location and topography

The Wilhelm Taler brook rises to 310 meters above sea level. NN at Lusebusch north of the hamlet of Remscheid Hackenberg and flows through a deep V-shaped valley in eastern direction. Behind the courtyard Böhlefeld he crosses the border to Wuppertal and receives inflow from the Frieling Hauser Bach. Now then it flows on parallel to the outskirts of Remscheid for a few hundred meters, receives inflow from several tributaries and crossed the border to Radevormwald. There the river is dammed in two large ponds and crosses under verdolt the site of a former paper mill in the district Radevormwalder Wilhelmstal. It ends after about 2.3 kilometers to 222 meters above sea level. NN in the Wupper.
