Willard Grant Conspiracy

The Willard Grant Conspiracy (WGC ) is a music project from Boston, Massachusetts to the singer and songwriter Robert Fisher. The members are as numerous as changing. The music is a sort of somber folk-rock, the lyrics are often about loneliness and despair, as well as the life on the American country. The band can be assigned to the alternative country genre. The name is derived from the Willard Grant Street, where the first album was recorded.

Members

Founding members are Robert Fisher ( acoustic guitar, vocals), Paul Austin ( guitar, joined 2002 band The Transmissionary Six, since 2011 also in the Walkabouts ) and Sean O'Brien ( also guitar).

The WGC hardly plays two nights in the same occupation. Other members ( ie those who contributed to studio recordings or concerts ) are, or were, among other things ( in no particular order):
