Willi Lindner

Willi ' Etsche ' Lindner (born 27 June 1910 in Frankfurt am Main, † March 5, 1944 ) was a German national football team.

The Frankfurter began playing football in 1921 at Union Niederrad, before moving to Rot-Weiss Frankfurt 1928. There he played until 1931. From July 1931 to September 1932 he was active until he said in September 1932 landed at Eintracht Frankfurt for Tennis Borussia Berlin. For the harmony he came in 53 league games for use in which he scored 27 goals until 1943. Also in the South German championship he came in the season 1932/33, in 15 games for use in which he came to 11 goals. He scored 3 goals in the same season in the three games in the final round of the German soccer championship. He also came to four inserts in Tschammerpokal. In 1935, he left the union and played for the TuRa Leipzig and from 1936 to 1938 for the club Reichsbahn Red-White Frankfurt until 1938 he returned to harmony.

In his time in Frankfurt was also the debut for the German national team. He played on 19 March 1933 in Berlin in the match against France. Empire coach Otto Mink was influenced by the vociferous spectators who had seen Lindner held dear Richard Hofmann, so that Lindner was replaced in the 40th minute against Hofmann. This should be the only use to stay in the national team.

Lindner oversaw the harmony in July 1941 as a volunteer coach.

Willi Lindner fell in 1944 during the Second World War on the Eastern Front.
