Willi Tiefel

Willi Tiefel (* July 14, 1911; † September 23, 1941 ) was a German football player.

The Hesse Tiefel was active initially, where he started for Union Niederrad 1920 with the football games. In 1932 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in the District League Main Hesse. Until 1936, he played 59 appearances for the harmony in which he scored five goals. Of these, 51 League Appearances with seven gates. Tiefel came twice in the final round of the German football championship for the use, where he scored a goal. He also came to six inserts in the South German championship. Later, the employees at a department store chain center-half continued his professional career due to the Berliner SV 92, from which in 1940 he joined the BSC Brandenburg.

In addition, he played from 1935 seven caps for the DFB. His first assignment was on May 8, 1935 in Dortmund against Ireland, which was won 3-1. His last international match was a 3-1 away win against Portugal in Lisbon.

Tiefel who fought in World War II, fell in 1941 on the Eastern Front.
