William Clothier

William Clothier Jackson ( born September 27, 1881 in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, † September 4, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American tennis player.

Career

His greatest achievement was winning the U.S. Championships in 1906. Moreover, he reached the finals in 1904 and 1909, but lost to Holcombe Ward or William Larned.

With the American team, he won in 1905 and 1906 in the Davis Cup. In 1956, the induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
