William Conklin
William Conklin ( born December 25, 1872 in Brooklyn, † March 21, 1935 in Hollywood ) was an American actor of the silent era.
Life
Conklin was a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. He played for about twenty years as a stage actor before he joined the 1913 film. Conklin played in 85 silent films. He was married to actress Lucy Blake. The transition to the talkies, he could not. Conklin died of a stroke.
