William Hjortsberg
William Hjortsberg ( * 1941 in New York City ) is an American author and screenwriter.
Life
William Hjortsberg graduated in 1962 with a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and broke the following year his studies at the Yale School of Drama from. However, he was able to study from 1967 to 1968 as a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University successfully. In 1969 he made his debut as a writer with the novel and Alp 1977 with the adventure film How thunder and lightning as a screenwriter. He continued to write novels such as Gray Matters, Symbiography and his greatest success Falling Angel. His works have been translated into several languages, including Russian, German, Hebrew, Japanese and Korean.
