William Martínez

William Rubén Martínez ( born January 13, 1928 in Pueblo Victoria, Uruguay; † 28 December 1997) was a Uruguayan football player.

Club career

The defender played in his youth first Sportivo Alba and moved in 1942 to Nacional. The Youth Department of the Bolsos he belonged to until 1946. In the following years he was then from 1948 worked for Rampla Juniors, where he played in the foreground. 1955 Martínez moved to Peñarol, where he received the jersey back number 2 and after he left in the championship years of 1958 to 1961, the year the club again, the Aurinegros captained. National
