William Seagrove

William Raymond Seagrove (* July 2, 1898; † 5 June 1980) was a British middle and long distance runners.

At the 1920 Summer Olympics he finished sixth in the 5000m with his personal best time of 15:21,0 minutes. In the team race over 3000m he came to ninth place (considering the worst scores 8th place) and won with the British team silver.

In the 3000 -meter team race of the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he came as the sixth member of the British team on the 16th Place. Although he had thus delivered a void result, he was like the rest of the British team won the silver medal.

In 1924 he was English champion in the mile run with his personal best time of 4:21,2 min.
