Willy Oskar Dressler

Willy Oskar Dressler ( born April 25, 1876 in Berlin, † November 7, 1954 in the end of wood, part of Scharnhorst ) was a German painter and interior designer who worked on fine and applied art.

Among other things, he edited from 1906 to 1913 Dresslers Art Yearbook and in its continuation 1920-1934 Dresslers Art Guide, which is known technically as short " of Dressler " and especially with the extensive recent issues is an important reference book on the art market.

Dressler was a member of the National Association of Visual Artists of Germany, the German General Kunstgenossenschaft, the Berlinischen Artists Association and Chairman of the main and the Working Committee of the Reich Art Weeks.
