Willy Schneider

Willy Schneider ( born September 5, 1905 in Cologne, † 12 January 1989 ) was a German folk and pop singer. Among his most successful songs include bulk concerns in a glass of wine and one would have to be 20 again.

Life

Willy Schneider was the son of Joseph and Bertha Schneider, born in Cologne -Ehrenfeld. After attending the elementary and middle school, he went from 1921 in his parents' butcher shop in the teaching. When his father died in 1927, led the son of the meat processing plant on. His first experience as a singer he was in a church choir. His great popularity was also based on numerous television appearances, including he was a regular guest in the HR mission Zum Blauen Bock. He was nicknamed the singer of the Rhine and wine.
