Wilson Arch

The Wilson Arch is a natural sandstone arch incurred, which is located on U.S. Route 191 and about 35 km outside of Moab is to be found. Its wingspan is about 28 m, its height is about 14 m. Highly visible beside the road he stands on a rocky outcrop in the landscape.

The Wilson Arch bears the name of Joe Wilson, a local pioneer who in the nearby Dry Valley had a cabin. The formation consists of so-called Entrada Sandstone.
