Winbond

The Winbond Electronics Corporation is established in 1987, Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer. The company mainly produces integrated circuits, microcontrollers, memory, chipsets for PCs and interface controller. Winbond is the largest semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan area, which sells its products under its own name and not only operates as a contract manufacturer. Some product lines from the PC peripheral range, however marketed by the subsidiary Nuvoton Technologies since 2008.
