Windmill Lane Studios

Windmill Lane Studios is a recording studio in Dublin, Ireland. The studio was opened in 1978 by Brian Masterson, managing director and chief engineer of the studio. It became famous through the recordings of artists U2, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor and Elvis Costello.

The Windmill Lane Studios are located since 1989 no longer in the building in Windmill Lane, even if the studio has kept the name. You are now a few blocks away in the Ringsend Road in the premises of the former Ringsend Studios.

The original studio building on the Dublin Windmill Lane (53 ° 20 ' 44.9 "N, 6 ° 14' 44.7 " W ) is now home to the Windmill Lane Pictures Company ( a video post -production company ), Number 4 ( an audio post-production studio), trend Studios ( a company for audio mastering ) and a number of other small businesses, but they all have nothing to do with the Windmill Lane Studio.
