Three singles were released from the album, 24 Hours ( UK number 78 ) in the spring of 1983, Feel the Love (UK number 87, number 76 OFF, NL No. 7 ), and Food For Thought (NL 18th place).
Eric Stewart remembered that the finished album did not meet his initial expectations:
" " Windows " began as a concept album, but I'm sorry that I did not pursue this goal, the pressure to produce a hit single, was the 10ccc albums always in the way. I longed to be like Pink Floyd and to strive only great musical statements such as " One Night in Paris" and "Feel the Benefit", but we were always locked single cycle, the fast money ', and it was impossible at this time break out.
