Winfried Wiencek

Winfried Wiencek ( born January 2, 1949 in Sengwarden ) is a Deaf sports official and former German deaf table tennis player. Since 2003 he has been General Secretary of the German Deaf Sports Federation. He is also President of Deaf Sports Association of North Rhine- Westphalia and agencies of the Federal Cross of Merit 1st class.

Wiencek is one of the most successful deaf table tennis athlete, he won 19 German titles and 36 NRW title. He was also a national player, manager at four European Championships and four World Games for the Deaf. He was also active in his club, GTSV Dortmund, as a sport, Youth Officer, Managing Director until 1 Chairman. Since 2006 he has been President of Deaf Sports Association of North Rhine -Westphalia, before he was in this Association Youth Officer, Chief Cashier, assessors and second Chairman.

In the German Deaf Sports Association, he was Youth Secretary, Association Fachwart for table tennis and assessors. And he was Technical Director for table tennis at the European Deaf Sports Association ( EDSO ) and the World Association for Deaf Sports ( ICSD ).
