Wingspan
Wingspan (or just span ) denotes the distance between the outstretched left and right wing tip of a winged animal or artificial object.
Definition
The rate of the wing span between the outstretched wingtips example of birds, Fledertieren or insects. In the aircraft- made objects, the distance from the left to the right wing tip is called the span. In airplanes which are equipped with swing wings, a minimum and maximum range can be specified.
