Winjas

Chaise

Winja 's Fear and Force are Winja's two roller coasters at Phantasialand (Brühl ). They are Double Spinning Coaster, which means that their cars rotate around its vertical axis. In addition, place the whole trip in a hall - Wuze Town - instead of what makes the attraction regardless of the weather. About half of the ride, one can observe from the hall, the other half of the ride takes place in the dark.

The two tracks have a total of 14 chaises with space for four people (two rows of two), of which, however, only take twelve. Two people start forward, two backwards, from a certain point on the track to catch the chaises to rotate. Passengers must be at least 1.30 m tall to ride can.

Run procedure

The cars are knocked down not horizontally or pulled up with a classic lift hill, but brought with a vertical lift to about 17 m high. The cars are tilted forward, so has the lift rail contact with the main line and so the cars can drive directly from the lift to the first drop on which the entire vehicle is photographed by two different cameras front and back. Both routes set in the track with a few mouse curves away. There follow a number of helices and Camelback. Both tracks have block brakes, in which the rail is tilted to the carriage thereon in a direction following a complete stop. " Fear" tilts forward, " force" tilts diagonally forward right away. The journey then continues in the direction of the tilt by the brakes are released. As a special feature the track " Fear" is taking an Immelmann turn.

Shortly before the station as a special effect in both tracks, the rails briefly lowered slightly and stand up again. These effects are for the first drivers occur unexpectedly and so offer a special experience, until today they are unique in a roller coaster.
