Winrich Kolbe
Winrich "Rick" Ernst Rudolf Kolbe ( born August 9, 1940 in Germany; † end of September 2012 ) was an American film director and producer of German origin.
Life
Winrich Kolbe was born in Germany and adopted in 1968, the U.S. citizenship. His career as a producer and director, he began in the 1970s at Universal Pictures.
Kolbe was primarily known for his work in various Star Trek series. In addition, he has also directed other well-known television series directed, such as Magnum, Knight Rider, In the Heat of the Night, JAG - The Call of Duty or 24 In 2002 he was hired as a director for the German film production Ice Planet.
