Wireless Village

Wireless Village is a network protocol for instant messaging, which is primarily designed for mobile phones. It was up to version 1.1 of Ericsson, Motorola and Nokia developed and passed into the hands of the Open Mobile Alliance, composed of the three companies. There will be further developed under the name of Instant Messaging and Presence Service.

Implementations are therefore also reflected primarily in devices these three manufacturers.
