Wishmaster 2 - Evil Never Dies (Original Title: Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies) an American movie from 1999, directed by Jack Sholder. This is the first sequel to Wes Craven 's Wishmaster and was produced directly for the video market.

Action

In a failed break-in into a museum, the alarm is triggered. In the exchange of fire between security guards and burglar a guard is shot and destroyed a statue that releases a hidden ruby. The burglar ( Morgana ) takes him in hand and thus freed the genie. The Djinn transforms into human form, is arrested as a burglar and sent to a prison. There he met a few poorly chosen wishes of his fellow prisoners, while Morgana has bad dreams, in which demands that it should fulfill the prophecy. Morgana visits the jinn in prison. The conversation scares her. A fellow clergyman she tells of her fears, the visions and the murder of a night watchman. What he also visited the jinn. Worried they investigate together over the jinn. It turns out that the genie Thousand and One soul must collect by fulfilling a request and receives the soul. Does he have the thousand and one soul together, he returns to the one who has freed him to meet him three wishes. As soon as the last three are met, he is finally free and the jinns rule the world. Otherwise, the trapped souls are free again and he is banished back to the ruby. The Djinn flees with a Russian fellow prisoners in a Russian gangster club. The Djinn accelerated collecting the remaining ones by taking over a casino, where the three meet again. The minister wants the genie to hell, whereupon the genie is in hell, but he takes both with him. And the priest is nailed to the cross for his wish. Morgana expresses the first request that the priest is released from his suffering. Another wish she does not want to comment. The Djinn is impatient and brings Morgana back to his casino. Morgana remembers the research that has shown that a spell of a woman pronounced with a pure heart can exorcise the demons into the stone. She wishes that lives the night watchman again, she has shot. He comes true. Thus it is again ' Pure of Heart ' and can banish the Djinn with the spell in the stone.
