Witold Czarnecki

Witold Czarnecki ( born April 12, 1953 in Murowana Goślina ) is a Polish politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.

He finished his Civil Engineering degree from the Technical University of Poznan and later received his doctorate in the same field. As a lecturer for concrete structures, he worked at the University of Zielona Góra.

He belonged to the Catholic right-wing conservative Porozumienie Centrum ( center - agreement - PC), after which he joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) at. In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected for the constituency of Kalisz on the list of PiS in the Sejm. In the 2007 parliamentary elections, he was re-elected with 18,137 votes for PiS in the Sejm, this time for the electoral district of Konin. He is a member of Sejm committees for education, science and youth.
