Wittensee

The Office Wittensee was an office in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde around the Wittensee. The seat of government was in office Gross Wittensee.

The Office covered an area of about 100 km ² and had 6700 inhabitants in the municipalities

The Office Wittensee was created in 1970 as part of the county and offices reform by merging the offices Borgstedt and Sehestedt. The communities small and large Wittensee Wittensee been assigned to this newly created office of the former offices huts or Windeby.

As part of the reform of administrative structures in Schleswig Holstein, the Office merged on 1 January 2008 with the Office of huts to the Official Hüttener mountains.
