Władysław Ludwik Anczyc

Wladyslaw Ludwik Anczyc (pseudonym: Kazimierz Góralczyk; born December 12, 1823 in Vilnius, † July 28, 1883 in Kraków ) was a Polish writer, poet and playwright.

The son of stage actor and director Siegmund Anczyc and his wife, the actress Barbara Hrehorowicz, studied pharmacy at the Jagiellonian University, but devoted himself to literary work early and lived mostly in Krakow, where he died on 28 July 1883. He wrote Polish folk tales as the farmers' Aristocrats ( 1851), The Farmer emigration ( prize ) and The Rafter (1875 ), and also the poetic narrative Tyrteusz (1862 ) and many early writings in the field of history and geography.
