WÅ‚odzimierz Mazur

Włodzimierz Mazur ( born April 14, 1954 in Opatów, Poland, † 1 December 1988) was a Polish football player.

Club career

Mazur played from 1973 to 1983 at Zagłębie Sosnowiec. During this time he was twice Polish Cup winner (1977 and 1978) and in 1977 with 17 goals scorer in the Polish Ekstraklasa. In 1983 he moved to France to Rennes. Here he played until 1985. In the 1985/1986 season he played again briefly at Zagłębie Sosnowiec.

National

In the Polish national Włodzimierz Mazur played from 1976 to 1982 a total of 23 times and scored 3 goals. He made his debut on 31 October 1976 in Warsaw against Cyprus (5-0 ), he played his last game on October 10, 1982 in Lisbon against Portugal (1:2).
