Wolfgang Borchert Theater
The Wolfgang Borchert Theatre is a professional private theater in Münster ( Westphalia ) with its own permanent ensemble, consisting of about five actors, which is complemented by around 15 guest actor. It was founded on December 29, 1956 and is one of the oldest private theater in Germany.
The theater was officially opened in 1956 as a theater in the small room at Minster principal market. 1958 moved the theater under the direction of Hans -Louis Metelmann with the artist community The hill in the Münster Hauptbahnhof around and called himself now Zimmertheater Münster.

The annual budget in 2008 was about 940,000 euros, since 2009 approximately 1 million euro and remained with the exception of 2012 ( 1.75 million euros ) in approximately unchanged.
