Wolfgang George Frederick von Pfalz-Neuburg

Wolfgang Georg Friedrich Franz von Pfalz- Neuburg ( born June 5, 1659 Dusseldorf, † June 4, 1683 in Wiener Neustadt ) was the fifth child and second son of Duke Philipp Wilhelm von Pfalz- Neuburg.

Since his older brother Johann Wilhelm was provided for the succession of his father in all secular offices, he was intended for the clergy. He was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Cologne, and was intended as Prince-Bishop of Breslau. However, he died before the election, of a papal audience in Rome coming, at the age of 24 years in Wiener Neustadt.

He was interred in the Hofkirche in Neuburg an der Donau. In the St. George's Cathedral Wiener Neustadt a grave plate reminded of him. In its place, then his younger brother Franz Ludwig was appointed by Pfalz- Neuburg to Prince-Bishop of Breslau.
