Wolfgang Peters

Wolfgang " Sully " Peters ( born January 8, 1929 † 22 September 2003) was a German football player.

Peters played from 1954 to 1963 mostly as a forward on Right Wing for Borussia Dortmund and in 1956 and 1957 with the black and yellow German champion and 1961 runner-up. 1963 ended his career, after he had been suspended by the board of BVB because of a break in a sports shop.

Peters played 1957 times in the German national team and was one of four players who were ready for the 1958 football World Cup in Germany on call, but have not been brought into the squad.

After his playing career, he was still working as a trainer in the Dortmund amateur football.
