Wolfgang Rösch

Wolfgang Rösch ( born August 25, 1959 in Wiesbaden ) is a German Catholic priest. He was from 2010 to 2013 Catholic city dean of Wiesbaden. October 23, 2013 to March 26, 2014 he was vicar general in the diocese of Limburg.

Life

Rösch grew up in Erbach in the Rheingau on as one of four brothers. He first completed a mechanical engineering degree from the Technical University of Darmstadt, before he studied theology at the Philosophical- Theological College Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main and at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He was a student at the Collegium Germanicum and was ordained in Rome in 1990 by Bishop Karl Lehmann priest.

Initially he worked as a chaplain and pastor in pastoral care in Wetzlar, Hadamar and Offheim and directed the diocesan office occupations in the church of the diocese of Limburg.
