Wolfgang Schilling (footballer born 1955)

Wolfgang Schilling ( born June 9, 1955) is a former German football player. The midfielder and striker was active for Arminia Bielefeld and Tennis Borussia Berlin.

Schilling began his professional career in 1973 with Arminia Bielefeld. With his team, he qualified in 1974 for the newly introduced second Bundesliga. In 1978 he was with the 2nd Bundesliga Arminia champion North and promotion to the Bundesliga. Schilling moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin, where in 1981 after the descent ended his career. He played a total of 235 second-division matches and scored 36 goals. In addition, he ran 35 times on the Regional, remained there, however, without scoring.
