Wolfgang Zimmermann

Wolfgang Zimmermann ( born December 14, 1949 in Leichlingen (Rheinland) ) is a German politician and trade unionist. He was 2007-2010 Country Representative and 2010-2012 member of parliament of the party Die Linke in North Rhine -Westphalia and chairman of its parliamentary group. He is a member of the party executive.

Zimmermann, since 1973, trade unionists (until November 2010 Chairman of the Verdi - district Rhein- Wupper and by March 2011 a member of the Verdi - Chairman of the District Board NRW) and until May 2010 exempted staff council chairman in the LVR Clinic Langenfeld, had before his entry into the WASG party political experience in PDS collected and is a member of the socialist group isl.
