Wolfville

Wolfville, initially called Mud Creek, is a small town in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada, approximately 100 km northwest of the provincial capital, Halifax. Wolfville is home to Acadia University and was the home of the Atlantic Theatre Festival.

Wolfville is a popular tourist destination which are offered by the university and the city on the one hand because of the unique scenery of the Bay of Fundy, on the other hand, because of the many cultural events. The town has retained its charm, have been partly converted into bed-and- breakfast accommodation, especially by the old Victorian homes. In the 1970s, Wolfville was declared to nuclear-free zone.
