Woodbury is a city in Gloucester County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The city lies near the Delaware River and is the main administrative center of Gloucester County.
History
Woodbury was founded by Henry Wood, a Quaker from the North West of England, who had emigrated for religious reasons in the United States.
The city was founded on 27 May 1854, and received on January 2, 1871 the status of a city.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.5 km ², of which 5.4 km ² of land and 0.1 km ² water surface are.
