Workers’ Indoor Arena

The Workers ' Indoor Arena, also known as Beijing Workers ' Gymnasium is a gymnasium in China.

It is located west from the Workers' Stadium in Beijing.

History

It was opened for the 26th World Table Tennis Championships 1961. At the 2008 Summer Olympic Games were in the Workers ' Indoor Arena, the boxing matches and discharged the judo competitions at the Summer Paralympics.

Data

The sports hall is one of eleven existing venues in Beijing that have been renovated and modernized for the Olympics. The hall has a seating capacity of 13,000.
