World cinema

International film ( in the Anglo- American literature: World Cinema ) is a term that both films as well as on the film industries outside the United States, particularly outside the U.S., refers.

In order to promote cross-border distributions and to stimulate interest in regional films and their subjects in terms of globalization and the integration of the enlarged European Union, an attempt by international film awards, and numerous film festivals, to draw attention to this and to arouse curiosity. On festivals also often American independent films are shown in the section " International Commercial".
