World Council for Psychotherapy

The World Council for Psychotherapy (World Association for Psychotherapy ) was founded in 1995, has its headquarters in Vienna and held every three years, a World Congress with over a thousand participants. The main objectives of the Association are to promote psychotherapy on all continents (based on the Strasbourg Declaration on Psychotherapy 1990), to improve the conditions of patients with national and international organizations to cooperate Betr. crisis management and peacekeeping, and to unify the training standards worldwide. Members are both psychotherapists as well as organizations. President of the WCP is Alfred injection.

The World Certificate for Psychotherapy ( WCPC ) is only awarded psychotherapist with accredited training and to promote mobility within the profession. Together with the city of Vienna is awarded annually by the International Sigmund Freud Award for Psychotherapy.
