World Curling Tour

The World Curling Tour ( WCT ) is a series introduced in 1992 class international curling tournaments. Most of the tour competitions find this place in Canada. The curling season of WCT usually begins in September and ends in April of the following year.

There is no official total victory or a tour final, it is only out a list of data collected by the registered teams prize money. Tournaments, registered teams and the money list are separated according to women's and men's teams.

The formats of the individual competitions are very different, so as the number of participating teams and the mode, after which the winner of the tournament determined. The start and prize money and the choice of teams is determined by the organizer of the competition itself.

Usually takes a single match three to four days and ends on a Sunday or Monday. The regular length of each game is usually eight ends, rather than - as in the case of the Curling World Championships - 10 ends, if only the large number of per day of competition due to play for.
