World Sturgeon Conservation Society

The World Sturgeon Conservation Society ( WSCS ) is an international organization of scientists that has the protection and recovery of the global sturgeon to the destination.

To this end it promotes the study of sturgeon and organizes workshops and conferences. It also promotes the exchange of information on sturgeon between scientists and politicians, and has set itself the goal to inform the public.

The WSC was founded in 2003 in Neu Wulmstorf, where it also has its headquarters. President of the Society is Harald Rosenthal, Vice President Sergei Doroshov.
