Wu Penggen

Penggen Wu (Chinese吴鹏 根; born May 7, 1982 in Nanjing) is a Chinese volleyball player.

Career

Wu graduated in 2005 in Brazil, his first tournament together with his longtime partner Xu Linyin. At the World Championships in Gstaad in 2007 they finished a good fifth place. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, they managed before a home crowd in ninth place also in the top ten. After that, Wu and Xu separated for a year to be reunited way back on track since the end of 2009. 2010 reach Wu / Xu with the tournament wins in Moscow and Marseille their greatest successes so far.
