The state of Württemberg -Baden was founded in 1945 by the U.S. military government and was from 1949 to a state of the Federal Republic of Germany. It was then in 1952 in the newly created state of Baden- Württemberg.

Geography

The country included the northern part of the former state of Baden and the northern part of the former state of Wuerttemberg.

History

After the end of World War II the northern parts of the former countries of the Weimar Republic and Baden Württemberg part of the U.S. occupation zone were.
