Wyssachen
Village center of Wyssachen
Wyssachen ( [ ʋi ː ˌ saxən ]; until 1908 officially called Wyssachen ditch ) is a municipality in the Oberaargau the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
Geography
Wyssachen is approximately 20 km south of Langenthal at the same stream in a tributary valley of the Langete. The neighboring communities of Wyssachen are in the north Huttwil, in the east Eriswil, to the south and west Sumiswald Durrenroth.
Personalities
In Wyssachen later Bern's city missionary Johann Ulrich Heiniger (1808-1892) was born on 8 February 1808.
